Directions from Paphos airport to Melania Gardens

From Paphos airport take the exit road from the airport. At the first T junction turn left onto the B6. Continue along this road and do not deviate to the left or right. It passes through several small village and town areas. In places the road narrows and then opens up again.

Continue for approx 15 kms. Passing through several traffic lights, eventually at about 15kms the road comes to ‘Debenhams’ roundabout. The Debenhams store will be seen on the right hand side.

At the roundabout turn left taking the road towards Kato Paphos. Continue on this stretch of road through the lights to the next roundabout. Turn right here and follow the short stretch of dual carriageway for a further 4-5kms. The road passes through a hectic tourist area of shops, kiosks and restaurants.

Continue through until the Venus beach hotel is seen on the left (sea side). About 2 kms after the Venus beach hotel, look out for the Aliceland restaurant (also on the left) which is a pale coloured square building. Turn right immediately after Aliceland. The road forks here, take the hill turn (which is slightly bearing to the right). Travel up the road slowly until you see the Melania Gardens development on the right side of the road.

If you take the right turning immediately before the Melania Gardens development, follow the road as it bends round and although this is a dead end road, this is where the shaded parking space is (no 14) for the apartment. There are lots of pillars and the parking spaces are quite tight so feel free to park where you feel comfortable, the spaces generally don’t get used much!

Instructions & Useful Information

  1. Electricity

When arriving please turn on main isolator switch to turn on the electricity. You will find the switch at the bottom of the grey box (behind the front door), this is marked as Main Isolator I.V Red.

When leaving the apartment to return home please turn off the master electricity switch. The plug sockets in the kitchen have all got individual switches.

  2. Shower

On the wall outside the bathroom there are two switches. One is for the fan, the other is to be turned on before showering. This is to help increase the water pressure output for the shower.

Please place toilet paper in the bins instead of down the toilet as this may cause blockages.

  3. Air Conditioning Remotes

Place batteries (these have been left next to the remotes) into the remote control. One remote can control all three rooms. Press on/off then mode once. +/- buttons control the temperature setting.

Ideal setting is around 25. Press on/off to turn off. As these are high power units There is no need to leave air con on when you go out so please turn them off, as it only takes 2-3 minutes to cool the rooms back down but if left on would leave us a massive electricity bill which we will then pass on to you!

When leaving the apartment to return home please take the batteries out of the remote controls and put remote by the TV.

  4. Keys

Double lock the front door by turning the key twice.

Please don’t lock yourself out of the apartment as there will be a £30 call out fee for a key holder to come to the apartment.
